Whois Privacy Protection in Shared Hosting
If you have ordered a shared plan from us and you have registered one or more domain names under your account, you will be able to activate Whois Privacy Protection for any of them without any difficulty and to keep your private info safe. Of course, this can be done only with the extensions that support this option. In your Hepsia Control Panel, you will find an “Whois Privacy Protection” icon next to each of your domains. Its color will tell you if a domain name is protected or not and in the second case, you can add Whois Privacy Protection with just several clicks. Thus, you can safeguard your private data even if you have not activated the Whois Privacy Protection service during the hosting account activation procedure. You will be able to renew or to deactivate the Whois Privacy Protection service for any of your domain names just as easily.
Whois Privacy Protection in Semi-dedicated Servers
Ordering Whois Privacy Protection for any domain is incredibly easy in case you’ve got a semi-dedicated server. If the domain is registered through us, it will be listed in the Registered Domains section of the Hepsia Control Panel that is included with each and every semi-dedicated package. If a given generic or country-specific domain name is Whois Privacy Protection-eligible, you will see a mini symbol on its right. To enable the service, you’ll have to click on it. In the same manner, you can also renew or deactivate the service. You can enable Whois Privacy Protection for a domain during the account order process as well, but since the service is optional, we’ll give you the opportunity to add it to any of your domain names at a later point in time in case you think things over and opt to conceal your private details from the general public after you have already ordered the semi-dedicated account.
